IMA Solutions performed the 3D long range HDR textured scanning acquisition with millimetric accuracy of the Great Court of the Natural History Museum of Toulouse.
To make this kind of 3D acquisition, IMA Solutions uses its Faro Focus s70 3D scanner. This equipment is able to 3D scan entire archeological sites, monuments and large scaled artworks.
This 3D long range scanner is certified to provide a 1mm accuracy at 70 meters.
Once the 3D acquisition and data processing is done, it is possible to provide high definition maps, orthophotos, 3D colored point clouds and 3D textured meshes that could be used to 3D print replicas for example.
