Ima Solutions and Digiscan3D used a long-range scanner to scan the entire public museographic space of the Arles Antique Museum.

The museum carried out this digitization campaign to create an updated map of the museum spaces, which have evolved numerous times throughout the museum’s history.

This work has several purposes: an updated map of the museum at a given time, particularly for emergency access; a map allowing the exhibition team to take measurements at all points (handling, access to lifting equipment, access to new items entering the collection);

We took vertical sections every 10 to 20 cm to study the space requirements at different levels. Vertical sections were also generated, as well as a scaled map allowing measurements to be taken without the need to be on-site.
