3D scanning of napoléon riding his horse

For the return of Napoleon from Elba Island 200th anniversary, we made a 3D scan of the Napoleon Horseback monument for the Musée de la Révolution Française in Vizille, France. Made in bronze by sculptor Emmanuel Frémiet in 1867, the sculpture is visible at the Laffrey village not far away from Grenoble city.

You can read the technical article at Artec3D website to learn more on how we 3D scanned this artwork!
